Ford becomes more active in flexing it wings
With Ford latest Flex crossover vehicle you can really get into the world where you can flex your wings to maximum. The Lincoln’s are putting the people mover vehicle at the coming Detroit Auto Show and people would see an altogether different appearance from its less known models. The new machine has a curvaceous exteriors giving it a luxury and lavish look. The Lear Jet cabin as it is called, the 2009 MKT gets into struggling world to rebuild the Lincoln Luxury brand.
The new model is unique and decidedly will stand out in the crowds of other luxury cars. The most amazing striking design it display is eco friendly, a package where it shells out 415 horsepower and a V-6 engine this could be clearly seen in its performance. The new machine takes into consideration the fuel economy and recyclability which is necessary for the environment.
Ford’s North American design director goes on to name MKT as the Lear Jet of the road just like any Lincoln designs for example MKS sedan and MKR concept. It’s a prototype utility vehicle that borrows its classic design cues without leaving the world of retro. The new model has a split wing grille with framed LED headlamps. The machine has lightweight body panels made up of plastic polymer which is sourced from recycled soda pop bottles. Due to light weight of the machine it has a direct effect on environment which has less fuel economy. Lincoln are using a twin turbo version of 3.5 liter V-6 engines and are fueled by E85 which is a mix of ethanol and gasoline and produces 415 horsepower and 400 pound feet of torque similar to that of 6.0 liter.
