2009 Nissan Murano, the ever so green family crossover box was introduced way back in the year 2003. Nissan Murano appeared in the market with good packaging, roaring engines, a smart sense of urban style with a V-6 engine which was coupled out for variable transmission. Nissan, since the time the company has come in existence has been a winner especially because of Murano. The new machine, Murano is a revised model of Nissan’s earlier 3.5 liter V-6 VQ engine which produced 265 horsepower and 248 lb ft of torque, for the new Nissan Murano the figures goes up by 25 horsepower and 4 lb ft of torque. The new machine is equipped with the latest Adaptive Shift control system device from Nissan specially used for the transmission purposes. The new machine is a front drive based Murano built on D platform; this is same as 2008 Altima.
As per the company sources, the new machine is one and half times more rigid which makes it extensive, they have used more of aluminum components that helps to lighten up Murano’s mass. It’s a 5 passenger car and is 188.5 inches in length and 74.1 inches in width, the new machine has height of 66.9 inches. The new machine has an independent multilink rear with the stabilizer bar. Other features of the vehicle includes speed sensitive power steering, rear disc brakes with power assistance, standard vehicle dynamic control, traction control systems, etc. at higher end, the system gives the facility of yaw moment control, its also available with an all-wheel-drive equipped models. The new restyled model has similar exterior designing as seen other recently released models like Altima and Infiniti G35, the major differences between the two models are restyled front grille having an integrated foglamps, headlights and wheel arches. The interior of the new model have also been upgraded.
Murano is a compact car offering the maximum luxury feature one can ever afford, it has Bluetooth connectivity with a satellite radio system, the range is more likely to start from $28K, there are also other technical options available to go with in your new vehicle. It has touch screen navigation responding to your voice commands and also a 9.3 gigabyte hard drive for musical storage. The system is also installed with DVD mobile entertainment system having a wireless headphones, rising monitor, remote control, etc. it also boosts 11 speaker Bose audio system.
